The Voyage

We are a community, with the option of remaining anonymous, that caters to women and provide a space where she can express and share her voyage of life. We encourage you to visit our Member Questions Forum if you have any questions. If your question is not addressed there, please post it in order to receive a response.

Profile

There can only be one account per person, which cannot be deleted by the user herself.

Please do not post personal info such as address, phone number, etc. in order to avoid getting doxed. Typically, we recommend you do not use the same username on this forum as you do on other forums or websites in order to safeguard your privacy. 

A user’s username and title should not contain any profanity, contain any sexually suggestive or provocative content, or be offensive in any other way.

Avatars, signatures, profile pictures, and signatures shall NOT include the following: no nudity, no partial nudity, no sexual images, no racist images, and no pictures that are defamatory. We reserve the right to remove your signature or avatar without prior notification if you violate these rules.

You can make your profile private so that only friends can leave visitor messages on your profile. Just go to your account and select the Privacy option. From there, you can change your profile to private.

General Behavior Rules

Don’t try to tell other members what they can and cannot post. Please report any behaviors that violate the forum policies. If necessary, put that member on your ignore list. We can suspend your account if you fin yourself in violation.

Any attacks against a moderator or administrator via forum posts, PMs, visitor messages, or reputation comments are grounds for immediate, permanent ban. Discuss things RESPECTFULLY & privately with the moderator via PM if you have a problem. Use the contact form on the forum to send an email to the administrator if you can’t resolve your conflict with the moderator.

Bullying and harassing other members of the forum is not allowed.

No attacking with threats of bodily harm, nor sending offensive conversations. You may not engage in organized collaboration with other members for the purpose of harassing, disrupting, or interrupting normal discussion. Don’t purposely follow into forums with the intent to harass or cause disruption.

Constructive criticism about the site is welcome and should be posted in the Member’s Questions forum. 

Posting Rules (forum posts, blog posts, PMs, visitor messages and reputation comments)

Please post in the correct Forum/sub forums. You have 24 hours to edit your post if you change your mind after posting. Admin/Mods may move the topic post to the correct forum if it needs to be moved.

Posting the same thread in multiple forums is not permitted. No need to repost the same topic/post has already been posted by another subscriber. Contribute to the existing thread instead of creating a new thread if so. 

Regardless of whether or not the title has been censored, you should NEVER use profanity in a thread title. Profanity is allowed in the posts themselves. There are many controversial and debatable topics discussed here. If you cannot tolerate opposing viewpoints without resorting to personal attacks, then DON’T use the site. Moderator or Administrator MAY change the title so that it accurately reflects the topic being discussed if it is misleading. Also, posts must be in English.

Privacy

It is PROHIBITED to post or imply identifying information about board members or their families. Included are photos, name, address, phone number, workplace, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Additionally, this includes NOT sharing information via PMs, visitor messages, or comments. Publishing personal information including physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and government names about a third party (someone who is not a Cocoa Odyssey member) is not allowed.

Hate Speech

Inciting hatred or promoting violence against individuals or groups based on: race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity is prohibited. It is forbidden to use slurs, graphic images, stereotypes or inflammatory comments. Images posted in violation of our “no slurs” policy are not allowed. NO racist content from other sites pasted here.

Sexual Content

Sexual content is not allowed on the main forums under any circumstances. We provide a forum for adult content (Naughty Voyage) 

You must be 18 or older to join these forums and are private. Sexual content is defined as:

• Nudity, pornography, sexually gratifying content or photographs, including sheer or see-through clothing or lingerie.
• Erotic stories and/or descriptions of sexual acts.
• Sexually explicit jokes.
• Advice about improving sexual performance.
• Sexual health advice 

Must request membership for entry.

Prohibited Content

• Copyrighted material links in threads are not allowed
• Threads regarding hacking, gambling, illicit drugs, sales of alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs, and weapons.
• Advertisements for other forums or websites. Additionally, images containing links to other forums or websites are NOT acceptable.
• Sexual content in the adult forums that contain images of minors (under the age of 18) or discuss bestiality or pedophilia is not allowed
• Threads advertising the sales or distribution of coursework or student essays .
• Private groups are allowed to discuss programs that compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails. DO NOT post these on the main forum nor your activity feed.
• Illegal activities such as software and music piracy, and infringements on intellectual property.

Thread Banning – You may be banned from participating in a discussion if one of the following reasons apply:

• Making off topic posts solely to derail the discussion.
• Launching personal attacks against other posters in the thread.

Reporting violators of the forum rules

You should not PM, tag, or @ a moderator or admin when you see something that violates the forum rules. Please report the content instead. The content will be reviewed and we’ll figure out if it’s against the rules. There’s a “report” button in forum posts, conversations, and blog posts that creates posts in a private forum that only moderators and admins can see. 

Penalties, Suspensions and reasons for Permanent Bans

In the case of established members of the Cocoa Odyssey community, we operate a point-based system to determine whether or not they should be suspended or banned. We usually issue a warning first. Infractions based on points are issued if the misconduct continues.

The infraction point amounts given for violations are below:

• Violating privacy I (disclosing identifying information about non-members) – 40 points
• Violating privacy II (posting personal information about members) – 100 points
• A personal attack on the moderator/admin because they dislike the rules and/or moderating – 100 points
• Posting prohibited sexual material in adult or ANY forums (pedophilia, beastiality) – 150 points
• Continued posting of previously published content – 5 points
• Hate Speech – 30 points
• Cyberbullying/Harassment – 30 points
• Making a post that contains censored words or phrases – 5 points
• Thread title containing profanity (includes attempts to censor the profanity) – 10 points
• Avatar or signature that violates the forum guidelines- 15 points
• Violating the rules for anonymous posting – 15 points
• Advertising other sites/forums or spam that is inappropriate – 25 points
• Intimidation and/or threat against another forum member – 15 points
• Consistently posting to the wrong forum – 5 points
• Sexual material posted outside of Naughty Voyage Forum – 25 points

Your access to participating on the forum will be suspended based on the following point schedule:

30 points = 3 day ban

50 points = 7 day ban

75 points = 14 day ban

100points =  33 day ban

125 points =  100 day ban

150 points = YOU’RE OUTTA HERE

A new member who joins Cocoa Odyssey only to spam or troll will be banned immediately.

Returning after ban/suspension – In cases of certain infractions/banned accounts, we will automatically ban your new accounts as soon as they are created or when they are discovered. Those banned for less serious infractions will have the opportunity to make a fresh start on the forums with their new account. Consistently violating the same infraction may be handled according to mod or admin discretion, including a permanent ban.
